WHEN IS THE BEST TIME AND DAY TO LIST ON EBAY

Alot of people have asked the question:

"WHEN IS THE BEST DAY TO LIST AN ITEM ON EBAY?"

I've tried by trial and error to list items on a daily basis.

There are a few factors that you need to consider.

Is there a special event going on during that listing day.

Example: Superbowl, GOLF, NBA Finals etc (They probably won't be on EBAY)

Are you listing on a weekend or a weekday.

People are normally around on the weekends particularly Sundays. Fridays and Saturadays are risky.

Mondays are good because they are back in the office and may be glued to the computers.

So in my experience I prefer Sunday excluding big events or global natural disasters.
Let me know if you have different opinions.

SELLING AN ITEM ON EBAY WALKTHROUGH

First set up your account and click on MYEBAY and then click on the SELL icon. Then type in your product in this case NINTENDO WII

Then you will prompted to fill in your listing title and for additional charges you can fill in a subtitle.

You will also be prompted to fill in the specific categories of your product. In this case it will be Nintendo systems, accessories etc.

Then you will be prompted to upload a picture of your item which is highly recommended. You can upload several pictures but only the first picture is free. You also have the option to put a gallery picture which is recommended.

Next is the item description which should be thorough yet concise. Don't forget that you can reedit this description as well as other categories provided you do not have bids on the items.

Next is the layout of your page and the starting price of the item. You also have the option of a BUYITNOW price or a reserve price on your bid. (Item has to be bid over such an amount before it becomes eligible to be sold)

Then specify your shipping costs and which countries you will ship to.

Decide on the gallery or additional features that will make your item stand out.

Finally EBAY will charge you fees depending on the overall cost of your item and all the modifications to enhance your product (Gallery, subtitle etc)

Now just click list item and sit back, watch, answer questions on your item.

USING EBAY TO MAKE MONEY $

1. Find your items for sale .

Some of the best items are where you are right now. You may be sitting on it at this minute. Check your closets!

EBAY categories are as follow:

2. Create an Ebay Account

This is really straight forward. Just click and follow the prompts. Have your personal information handy, bank account information and all identifying information.
Create a username and password and you should be rolling.

3. List your item and wait.

Listing is fairly easy. EBAY will prompt you to select your item and place it in it's appropriate category. You will be asked to submit pictures which is recommended to increase hits and potential bids. Gallery feature posts a small thumbnail on the search page which adds to your appeal and can attract potential bidders.

Then specify shipping information. How much, which provider USPS, UPS, FED EX etc

Then specify payment information PAYPAL is an EBAY affiliate that can electronically transfer funds and covers against fraud to a certain limit. I would recommend this service however paypal will take away some of your money as commission.

4. Use the income you made from your ebay sale to fund future purchases

Once you have sold items, consider using the money you have accrued to fund future purchases if you are unable to find products. That way you are always profitting.

I will probably post a walkthrough with more pictures when I sell my Nintendo WII.
